Pinot Gris 

Raptor Ridge produces pinot gris in a medium-body, Alsacian style. Using stainless steel, we strive to maintain a balance of fruit and acidity, while presenting the luscious texture and aromas that Willamette Valley pinot gris offers. We have historically sourced our grapes from high-quality vineyards, including Dion Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, Belleview Cross Vineyard in the McMinnville AVA, Temperance Hill and Zenith Vineyards in the Eola Amity Hills and the Rudolfo Vineyard, closer to Corvallis. 

Orchard fruit dominates the aroma of our pinot gris, and mid-palate weight ensures a wine suitable for food pairing, while fresh acidity makes this wine outstanding on its own!  

Logsdon Ridge Vineyard, organically farmed by Dai Crisp, has always been known to be a top Pinot Gris performer. This Pinot Gris was barrel fermented using VL1 yeast, which is known to express terpenes (think citrus and floral notes).
